AB Bank’s offerings include a variety of deposit products tailored to fit any client’s needs, money transfer services (international, regional, and local), SMS banking, performance guarantees, and foreign exchange, among others. Notably, foremost to these offerings are the loan facilities that meet the needs and capacities of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) and other clients in the lower income strata. ABR has a network of over 5 branches in Rwanda; 4 of which are located in key areas of the capital city, Kigali, while the 5th branch is in Musanze, covering the Northern part of the country.


Description, duties, responsibilities


Main Responsibilities


- To attend various Trainings as organized by the bank


- Bring new Customers, New Loan Applications and Deposit Volumes


Sales of loan products, payment services and digital platforms


Sell all ABR products and services by informing people outside the bank about the strengths of AB Bank and about its products and services


Conduct efficient follow-up on potential customers and guide them to account opening and loan application.


Ensure KYC and AML requirements are met for all their clients


Perform market research


Represent AB Bank and its values at all times, adopt a professional, courteous, efficient and friendly behavioral style when working with clients, applicants and colleagues or in contact with any other people outside the bank


Other responsibilities


Fulfil given targets


Maintain good professional relations with staff from other departments


Create and keep high efficiency and positive attitude to work, demonstrating punctuality, excellent time management and high professional standards


Constantly aim to improve own skills and efficiency and expand on the basis of knowledge gained during training by means of self-study of procedures and processes, actively asking questions, and thinking critically about own activities and observations


Make proposals to the Branch manager for improvements to the role and activities of field sales agent


Results expected to achieve


Increase bank’s Deposits, Accounts and Credit Clients
