Do you have a keen eye for detail and a desire to contribute to a meaningful mission?
Urwego Finance CBC, a faith-based organization dedicated to empowering underserved communities in Rwanda through financial services, is looking for 6 motivated Scanning Operators to join our team.
In this role, you’ll be a key player in our efforts to streamline our document management system. You’ll be responsible for preparing, scanning, and indexing physical files as part of our e-filing project.
Here’s what you’ll do:
- Organize and prepare documents for scanning (sorting, removing staples, etc.)
- Scan documents using high-speed scanners
- Index scanned documents with accurate information (type, origin, date)
- Record scanned documents within the system
- Organize and maintain scanned documents for future reference
- Ensure a clean and organized scanning workspace
To be successful, you’ll need:
- A commitment to Urwego Finance CBC’s mission and vision (optional, depending on company culture)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (Word, Excel)
- Adaptability and a willingness to learn new things
Bonus points for:
- Data entry experience
- Knowledge of banking services
