FHI 360 is searching for a passionate Literacy Data Use Specialist to join our USAID-funded Tunoze Gusoma (Schools and Systems) project in Rwanda!
What will you be doing?
- Play a key role in improving literacy skills for Rwandan boys and girls.
- Be the data wizard behind the scenes, ensuring the CAMIS system effectively stores and utilizes vital literacy data.
- Partner with the National Examinations and School Inspection Authority (NESA) to strengthen their data management systems.
- Design and deliver training programs to equip NESA staff with the skills to use and analyze literacy data.
- Help NESA develop user-friendly dashboards for visualizing LEGRA (Local Early Grade Reading Assessment) data.
- Promote transparency and accessibility of literacy data for informed decision-making across the education system.
Are you a perfect fit?
- You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in data management, computer science, M&E, or a related field.
- You have at least 5 years of experience managing data collection, analysis, and data-driven decision making.
- You’re a whiz at data analysis, visualization, and working with various databases.
- Experience working with the Rwandan government is a plus!
- You have excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
