🎯 Position Overview

Logistics Officer

Reporting to the Supply Chain Specialist, the Logistics Officer will support end-to-end logistics operations, ensuring the smooth movement of goods both locally and internationally.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented logistics professional who thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment and is passionate about efficiency, compliance, and timely delivery.

🧭 Key Responsibilities

Transportation & Coordination

• Plan and coordinate local and international transportation of goods

• Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of materials and equipment

• Track shipments and proactively resolve delays or delivery issues

Documentation & Compliance

• Prepare and manage:

  • Shipping and delivery documents

  • Delivery notes, invoices, DMCs, and reports

• Ensure compliance with:

  • Company policies

  • Regulatory and customs clearance requirements

Cost Control & Efficiency

• Monitor logistics and transportation costs

• Identify opportunities to improve logistics efficiency and cost savings

Records & Reporting

• Maintain accurate logistics records

• Prepare periodic logistics and performance reports

• Support procurement and broader supply chain operations as required

🎓 Required Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in:

  • Logistics

  • Supply Chain Management

  • Business Administration

  • Procurement

  • or a related field

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, warehousing, or transportation

Technical & Professional Skills

• Strong knowledge of:

  • Logistics operations

  • Inventory management

  • Transportation processes

• Familiarity with:

  • Shipping documentation

  • Customs clearance procedures

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)

• Experience with ERP or logistics systems is an added advantage

Personal Attributes

• Strong organizational and analytical skills

• Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation abilities

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• High integrity, attention to detail, and strong teamwork skills
