Position Overview: Counter Salesperson
The Counter Salesperson plays a key role in promoting and selling spare parts and related services at the counter. Reporting to the Commercial Manager for Parts and Services, the role ensures excellent customer service from reception through to delivery, helping retain existing clients and attract new customers.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome customers, listen to their needs, and provide professional advice.
Recommend appropriate spare parts and related services.
Prepare accurate quotations for customers.
Process customer orders and ensure timely delivery of spare parts.
Monitor customer payments and follow up when necessary.
Retain and develop new customer relationships through excellent service.
Required Skills & Knowledge
Solid technical knowledge of spare parts and equipment.
Experience working at a spare parts counter or in customer service.
Knowledge of Caterpillar products and spare parts software (SIS, ET).
Strong commercial and communication skills for advising and selling to customers.
Required Profile
Minimum Bac +2 in Mechanics, Technology, or related field.
Basic proficiency in English.
Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail.
