UNICEF Rwanda seeks an experienced and highly organized National Consultant to lead the communications, visibility, and partnership requirements for a major Danish-funded program: “Bridging Rwanda’s Gap: Enhancing Access to Child Health Services and Clean Water.”

This is an urgent, high-visibility role requiring an individual to quickly manage international media and donor relations, particularly for the production of the Danish “Christmas Calendar” initiativeโ€”a crucial resource mobilization effort.

The Mandate: Visibility, Partnership, and Project Execution

You will be the focal point for ensuring UNICEF Rwandaโ€™s compliance with Danish visibility guidelines, facilitating international media missions, and strengthening cross-cutting partnerships, with a strong emphasis on the private sector.

๐Ÿ”‘ Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

  • International Mission Coordination (CRITICAL): Lead all coordination, logistics, accreditation, and approvals for the Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DBC) and UNICEF Denmark filming crews visiting Rwanda in Jan/Feb 2026.

  • Communications & Content Production: Produce high-quality, impactful communications and visibility materials, including child portraits, human-interest stories, social media content (X, Instagram, Facebook), and field documentation specifically for the Danish Committee for UNICEF.

  • Safeguarding & Consent: Ensure strict adherence to UNICEF’s child safeguarding policies, managing all consent processes for children and families featured in communication products.

  • Partnership Support: Strengthen UNICEF Rwanda’s engagement with the private sector and support resource mobilization efforts through content production for donor reporting and proposals.
